Hi there, I'm Krista, also known as @wfpbhousewife.

Unhappy with my weight for most of my life, I made a life-changing decision in September 2018 to adopt a vegan lifestyle. This evolved into a high carb/low fat whole foods plant-based diet by 2022.

Understanding the concept of calorie density and using the starch-soluton style plate building method was a game-changer, leading to a loss of around 40 pounds, which I've successfully been maintaining.

I feel more energized and healthier than I did in my 20s and 30s.

I am happily married and have four adult children.

I enjoy reading, lifting weights, organizing & decluttering (doesn't everybody?) and spending time with loved ones.

Lattes are my love language.

I don't like spending a lot of time cooking and usually keep my meals pretty simple.

I am passionate about promoting a healthy lifestyle through plant-based eating.
